Principles for Responsible Management Education (PRME)

Tobias Viere is a professor at the Institute for Industrial Ecology (INEC), Pforzheim University, Germany. He chairs the university’s sustainability board and teaches in study programs on Resource Efficiency Management and Life Cycle & Sustainability.

He is a research fellow at Leuphana University, Lüneburg, where he is a research fellow at Prof. Schaltegger’s Center for Sustainability Management. Prior to his professorship in Pforzheim, Tobias was head of research and consulting at a sustainability-oriented software company.

He has produced a number of publications and case studies in the areas of sustainability management and control, life cycle assessment, and resource efficiency, and is involved in several larger sustainability-related research projects.
